E-commerce & CMS Development Built Around Revenue per Visitor
Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress and headless stores built so the product page paints fast, the checkout does not stall, and the platform matches your catalogue and fulfilment — not what we happen to prefer building.
A slow store is an expensive store
Every extra 100 milliseconds on a product page measurably reduces conversion, and most stores carry seconds of avoidable delay: a theme loading forty apps' worth of JavaScript, product images uploaded straight from the camera, a review widget that blocks the add-to-cart button until it has finished talking to its own server. The catalogue looks fine. The money leaks at the moments that matter.
We build storefronts from the checkout backwards. The product page, cart and checkout are optimised first — server-rendered where the platform allows, images in modern formats at display size, third-party scripts audited and deferred — and tested on a mid-range phone over 4G, which is how most of your customers will actually shop. Only then do we widen out to collections, content and campaigns.
Platform choice follows the business, not the agency. Shopify when you want a hosted checkout and an app ecosystem; WooCommerce when content, custom pricing or ownership matter more; headless when you have the traffic and the team to justify it — and we will tell you when you do not. Our article on when headless commerce makes sense is the same advice we give on calls.

What we build
Shopify Store Builds & Theme Development
Custom or customised Shopify themes with the app stack kept lean, product and collection templates built for speed, and Shopify Plus checkout extensibility where you have it.
WooCommerce & WordPress Development
Content-rich stores and company sites on WordPress, with WooCommerce configured for your pricing, shipping and tax rules and a block editor your team can actually use.
Headless Commerce
Shopify or WooCommerce as the backend, a Next.js or custom front end in front — for stores with the traffic, content needs and team to justify the architecture.
Checkout & Conversion Optimisation
Cart and checkout flows, payment options, trust signals, form friction and post-purchase upsells — measured with e-commerce analytics, not opinion.
Store Speed Optimisation
Theme, app and image remediation on an existing store until it passes Core Web Vitals in the field. See speed optimization for audit-first work.
Migrations & Replatforming
Catalogue, customer and order migration between platforms with URL mapping and redirects so rankings and revenue survive the move.

Is this the right service for you?
We would rather tell you now than three weeks in.
A good fit if…
- You sell online, can name your conversion rate, and want it higher
- Your current store is slow and the theme or app stack is the reason
- You are replatforming and cannot afford to lose rankings or orders during the move
- You want the platform choice explained, not assumed
Probably not, if…
- You need a single product page live tomorrow — a Shopify template and an afternoon will do it
- Your catalogue needs complex configurators or B2B pricing only a custom platform can handle — talk to us about web development instead
- You want every app installed "just in case"
From $1,019, fixed once scope is signed
Most stores fall in the Basic Website ($1,019–$2,039) or Business Website ($2,979–$6,750) tier depending on catalogue size and integrations. Complex or headless builds are quoted after the audit — always as one fixed number.
Questions we are asked most
Shopify or WooCommerce — which should I choose?
Shopify if you want a hosted platform, a world-class checkout you do not maintain, and an app for almost everything. WooCommerce if you need deep content alongside commerce, custom pricing logic, full ownership of the stack, or lower running costs at scale. We recommend after seeing your catalogue and fulfilment, and we build both, so the advice is not commercial.
Can you migrate my store without losing rankings?
Yes — the migration plan includes a full URL inventory, one-to-one redirects for every product, collection and content page, preserved titles and structured data, and a Search Console check after launch. Read how we protect rankings during a rebuild.
Why is my Shopify store slow?
Usually apps. Each one injects scripts into every page whether or not that page uses them; a store with thirty apps often loads over a megabyte of JavaScript before the product image appears. Add camera-sized images and a heavy theme and you have a store that fails Core Web Vitals. We audit the app stack and theme first — removal is often the biggest win.
Do you build headless stores?
When they are justified. Headless gives you a very fast, fully custom front end at the cost of maintaining more software and losing some platform features. It pays off for high-traffic stores with strong content needs and a technical team. For most stores under a few million in revenue, a well-built theme delivers the same speed for a fraction of the cost.
Will you set up payments, shipping and taxes?
Yes. Gateways (Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal, Klarna and regional options), shipping zones and rates, tax rules, and fulfilment or inventory integrations are configured and tested with real transactions before launch.
Do you offer ongoing store maintenance?
Yes — monthly care plans covering platform and plugin updates, backups, security monitoring, speed checks and a block of hours for changes, with no minimum term. Details are on the audits and care page.
